Boba and Beyond was born with a simple but powerful idea: to bring people together over bubble tea and desserts that taste as good as they look. Based in the heart of Welling on Bellegrove Road, we set out to create more than just another dessert shop — we wanted to build a place where South East London could experience handcrafted bubble tea, waffles, cakes, and shakes made with care, creativity, and flavour that stands out.
From the very beginning, our mission has been clear: every drink and dessert should bring happiness in every sip and every bite. That’s why our team uses only premium ingredients, from organic ceremonial-grade matcha and freshly brewed tea leaves to golden Belgian waffles and indulgent cakes.
Why We Started Boba and Beyond
The idea for Boba and Beyond came from noticing that South East London didn’t have a true local destination for fresh, halal-certified bubble tea and desserts. Instead of travelling far into central London for authentic milk teas or Instagram-worthy waffles, we wanted to give our local community something special — right on their doorstep in Welling.
We opened our doors with a clear vision: to blend the creativity of bubble tea with the comfort of classic desserts, creating a shop where families, friends, students, and professionals could gather, relax, and enjoy something unique.
